Dear Patriots,

We are having to report to you all, the real INSPIRERS and the real MOTIVATORS on the leap we took today Monday 9th Feb., 2009 to support the Movement for Change. Here is the progress report humbly laid for your comments, perusal and further action please.

1) Between 5.30 - 6.30 pm; your compatriots Dr Otive Igbuzor, Dr Sam Amadi and my humble self met in one of the lounges in ROCK VIEW Hotel, Abuja, we booked and confirmed the venue for our inaugural meeting scheduled by you for Sat. 21st March 2009.

2) Sat 21st March meeting time is 10 am till we complete the business of the day.

3) In keeping with the principles of transparency and openness, we hereby disclose the cost of hall rental being N80,000 (Eighty Thousand Naira) - It was paid for today through the joint contribution of three of us: Otive, Sam and I.

4) There will be no tea/coffee break please; BUT we shall have lunch break for one hour at the said inaugural meeting. Cost of buffet lunch plus one bottled water is N2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira) - negotiated from N3,000 (Three Thousand Naira) Plated lunch ie not buffet lunch cost much less depending on what you are ordering.

5) We are unable to foot the bill for plated lunch or buffet lunch; therefore each conferee will please pay for his or her own meal at the venue. If you want buffet lunch, please indicate within 7 days by email to Sam and or Otive. If you chose to bring your own lunch pack in your car, fine. But be reminded that hotel regulations do not allow guests to bring in food to the event; meaning you could eat your lunch during break privately in your car.

*For the avoidance of doubt, you are not requested to contribute money to anyone for the inaugural meeting. Those who want to have the hotel buffet and we encourage many to do so will indicate (7 days) and bring your lunch money to the venue on the 21st March 2009.

6) The AGENDA and CONCEPT are still being worked on; you will sure be posted4 input.

7)Should you desire to sponsor anyone of your friends or colleagues, to the meeting by paying for their transport or lunch; welcome but please pay directly to the beneficiary.

8) Those coming from outside Abuja will pls arrange and pay for their own accomodation.

RIGHT NOW block the date Saturday 21st March 2009; come make resounding history for Nigeria, for the coming generation 10am prompt @THE ROCK VIEW HOTEL, ABUJA.
